Be a donor. Your collaboration will help further the fight against cancer and other diseases.
Contributing biological samples for biomedical research is a voluntary, altruistic act by donors. To do so, you will have to sign an informed consent form so the remainder of the tumour specimens saved in the hospital after surgery and/or donating blood can be used.
The Xarxa de Bancs de Tumors de Catalunya (XBTC) ensures the traceability of each donor’s biological material, so you can find out which studies you’re collaborating with, if you are interested.
Send us the following form and we’ll explain the process:
The personal data obtained through the donation will be processed and stored confidentially according to current law at all times. At any time, you may exercise your rights to access, rectification, limitation, portability and objection, contacting the DPO at the hospital where you gave the sample in writing.
